Prior to her current position Asha served as an Agent Special in the New York Division of the FBI which specialized in counterintelligence investigations. In her role, she assessed the security threats facing the nation and performed classified investigations about possible foreign nationals. Asha was a former FBI agent in interrogation in electronic surveillance and interview methods. Asha graduated cum laude from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs and was awarded the Fulbright scholarship to study constitutional reform within Bogota Colombia. She completed her law education at Yale Law School. There she was an Coker Fellow in Constitutional Law. In addition to this, she worked as a clerk in the Office of Judge Juan R.
