Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for her role as the character Detective Diane Russell. The most notable role she has played is her performance as a character in All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives. Delaney was the sole child of an United Auto Workers executive and his wife who was a domestic worker. Her childhood was spent within a household that included four brothers. As a young girl, Delaney wanted to be a court-reporter. But in highschool the time came when she began modeling commercials, she moved to New York. Her first role as an actor was when she was a young, innocent girl in the soap opera All My Children. Delaney, a young actress from the 1980s has appeared in several films TV movies as well as dramas. While she has a career success, her private life isn't as successful and happy. There were two unsuccessful marriages and struggled with addiction issues. In 2005, she lost the custody of her son.
