Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley was born on February 26, 1976, from Falmouth Jamaica. He is among the most wealthy and well-known Reggae Singers. He was a part of the legendary film Shottas with another famous singer Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani signed with Shang Records in 1996 where the first album he put out was With Father Like Son. He also recorded several singles, including Judge Not With Patra as well as Dear Dad (which reached the top of the British Reggae Charts) as well as Who The Cap Fit remix and Sensimelia. Each of them helped contribute to the rising popularity of Ky among the younger generation of reggae singers. In 1997 Ky-Mani joined forces together with Praswell (Fugees) to record Avenue an acclaimed cover that was a cover of the song by Eddy Grant Electric Avenue. Marley was the first artist to perform at Midem a world-class festival of music held in Miami.
